Come and learn to play the sport that over a million Canadians of all ages enjoy !

Beginners and experienced curlers are always welcome. Bring your friends, or join and meet new friends at the Club! Singles, couples or teams can take part.Youth programs are available for ages 10 years and older and there are also seniors' programs.

Learning to curl is easy and fun! It is simple to learn and challenges everyone who plays, whatever the level or age. Curling offers warm camaraderie, activity, flexibility and affordability to those who enjoy the sport.

The curling season begins in the fall, usually in late September, and goes until late March. During the season instruction can be organized for interested players or groups.

Tips to ensure you enjoy your curling experience!

Clean shoes! Our ice technicians spend many hours making perfectly clean ice, so we don't want you going out on the ice in the same shoes you arrived in. Therefore, you will need to bring some clean, rubber-soled shoes (running shoes or tennis shoes are ideal).

Layer up! When the trainers are demonstrating the curling skills and instructing you on what to do, you may find you get a little cold. Then, when you start curling, you may find yourself geeting too warm. Wear a light jacket or fleece that you can take on and off as you need to along with a long-sleeved shirt and a light sweater or sweatshirt.

Wear loose pants! You need to be able to stretch easily, so sweatpants are ideal. Jeans are usually too restrictive.

Bring gloves! Your hands may get cold, so a light pair of gloves or mitts is recommended.

That's all! The great thing about curling is that you do not need any special equipment to get started. The Club will lend you a broom and make sure you are looked after during your learn to curl session. Click here for your cheat sheet on curling basics

Although we can teach you the basics of curling in a few hours, it may take you a bit longer to become an expert!
